Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 August 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using MealPantry ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

2. What MealPantry does

MealPantry is a meal-planning tool that uses publicly available supermarket catalogue information to generate personalised weekly meal plans and shopping lists. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, IGA, or any other retailer. Catalogue prices are indicative only — always verify the current price in-store.

3. Subscription and free trial

  • MealPantry offers a 30-day free trial for new users. No charge is applied during the trial period.
  • After the trial, subscriptions are available at $5.99/month or $49.99/year. The selected fee is displayed clearly in the App before purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All billing, refunds, and cancellations are managed by the respective platform in accordance with their terms.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds outside of what is provided by Apple or Google's refund policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute any catalogue data accessed through the App
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to access the App or its data

5. Accuracy of information

Meal plans, ingredient costs, and nutritional suggestions are generated algorithmically and provided for general guidance only. MealPantry is not a dietitian or medical service. If you have specific dietary, health, or allergy requirements, consult a qualified professional. Always check ingredient labels for allergen information before consuming any product.

6. Intellectual property

All content within the App — including recipes, design, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to MealPantry. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the App without our written consent. Supermarket branding and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, MealPantry is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including (without limitation) losses arising from incorrect prices, unavailable products, or meal plans that do not meet your expectations. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the subscription fee you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

8. Availability

We aim to keep MealPantry available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App. On termination, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
